Hilary+Kyle were married at Public in Nolita, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Manhattan. I loved shooting their engagement session in Brooklyn earlier this year and had just as much fun capturing their big day. These two are kind, sweet and stylish, and their wedding reflected their personalities so well.

This simple and intimate affair is one of my favorite stories I had the privilege to document. So touching, peaceful and authentic.
Grant+Jenn are from Hawaii and now live in Seattle. This fall, they eloped in central park, where Grant had proposed to Jenn a couple years ago. The ceremony took place in wagner cove, a hidden gem tucked away into a shady corner by the lake. Grant suprised Jenn with this pretty postcard he made out of a vintage ad for central park. After the ceremony, they pulled out an ipod and had their first dance under the small wood shelter by the water. That’s when the sun decided to peak out of the clouds and cast its light on the newlyweds… just bliss.
Sometimes, it’s not about the cake, the caterer and the bridesmaids’ dresses. As long as there’s love… and a first dance!
Thank you Jenn and Grant for being so gracious and graceful.
