2011 has been a whirlwind year for me. It started with a vision of what I thought I could possibly do. Despite many fears and against more rational choices, I decided to follow my heart and make things happen. I learned so much, met a lot of great people, achieved goals… A year later, I often stop to think how much has happened in so little time and how grateful I am for the life I have. I found wedding photography to be constantly stimulating, rewarding and meaningful, more than I ever thought it could be. It has also open doors to other opportunities that I’m excited to explore and grow as a photographer.
In 2011 I got to photograph weddings in New York, California, France and Portugal. From big celebrations to intimate elopements. In the city and in the countryside. In a castle, in a backyard, in a warehouse and in a lemon grove. On a rooftop and on an island.
Merci to all the couples, newlyweds and newly engaged, who trusted me.
Merci to the talented and generous photographers who helped me.
Merci to the bloggers and editors who featured all my work.
Merci to my very supportive friends and family.
Merci to the sun for your beautiful light.
2012 is looking to be another exciting and challenging year. Lots of weddings and travels coming up… as well as other photography projects that I’ll share on my personal blog. Stay tuned.
